The most important thing, regardless of how the present situation turns out, is to remember. Remember what happened, why it happened, who supported injustice, and who stood against it. The most consistently important objective for the oligarchy in the west is to erase justified discord and struggle from the public memory after they have been extinguished by rhetorical marginalization or police violence. Capitalism requires a narrative of noble paternalism to persist. Deny them that narrative.
